BOOZE NOOZE- A SOLUTION?

Yeh alright, I've heard it all before.

The only way to cure the binge drinking is to take the Power away from the Supermarkets. All these Major Supermarkets share a lot of the Responsibility of what is happening in our communities as are the Parents in this Modern Era.

Too much power was taken from the Parents and successive Goverments went along with the OK YA HENRY'S AND then could not cope with the Backlash they caused.

Respect for Society has gone out of the window and for what. Greed of the Government, Greed of Business.

Bring Back the 21 RULE.

REMEMBER KEY OF THE DOOR WAS AT 21

LAWS WERE BASED ON 21.

Ths was changed to make money in Mass!

• Driving age decreased to 17 in order to rake in massive revenue.
• Drinking age decreased to 18 in order to rake in massive revenue.
• Smoking age decreased to 16 in Order to rake in the Taxes.
• Laws for getting engaged at 21, requiring Parents Consent and legal binding was axed. The idea of getting engaged was to keep each others promise to wed and see how suitable a couple were to each other, building their nest-egg, filling the bottom draw etc. A breathing space to be sure of Marriage and what their vows meant.
• Laws for Getting Married at 21 axed. Couples as early as age of 16yrs get married not knowing what is in front of them.

The reason these laws were in place were to stop what is now happening today. There is total direspect for Family Values and peoples lives. Kids at the age of 13 having sex, getting pregnant and then wonder why they miss out on their young life, then their kids grow up with less respect for others and they wonder where they went wrong?

The anti-social element in our society are a big joke, they cannot handle Normal Adult Life, that is why there are so many problems today.

• Make it illegal to carry Alchohol in any loose form in the Cab of a Vehicle unless in sealed packageing. Where appropriate stored in the boot of that vehicle.
• Make it illegal to Buy any Alchohol from supermarkets or Off Licences that are not sealed in a Bag and drinking & carrying it on the streets.
• Make a Total Ban of Drinking on the streets and public areas.
• People either drink in appropriate establishments or in their own homes.
• USE HEAVY FINES OR IMPRISONMENT TO THOSE WHO CHALLENGE.
• NO IF'S, NO BUT'S, NO EXCUSES. STAIGHT FORWARD LAW.

So there you go, how hard can this be?

But we don't wanna do that. What we want is for proper facilities and training for our youth in this community, because those who we talk about have been let down by their Education System, the Social Services, Thurrock Council and even over the years some of our Councillors (REMEMBER CLOSURES).

Give the youth an opportunity and I bet they would like to turn their life around. So lets see some of that Big Money turn it's sites into the South Ockendon Community Now! Stop closing down the buildings, start building new infrastructure now for our Kids and the Youth!

BOOZE IS NOT THE REAL PROBLEM.

THE REAL PROBLEM IS PEOPLE.

PEOPLE WHO MAKE DECISIONS.

PEOPLE WHO TAKE AWAY AND DON'T GIVE BACK.

THEY ARE THE REAL PROBLEM!
