Horses for Courses!
After the SORA meeting on the 8th April 2010, the editor of this blog had been copied in on emails sent out via SORA and some responses!
I was amazed that Rural Arisings, Council officers and some councilor's had stated that the Ham River site for the Landfill, which belongs to Belhus Land Ltd, was not there responsibility as regards the Horses and there re settlement and that the responsibilty lays with sub tennants of this land and Belhus Land Ltd!!!
SO WHO IS MONITORING WHAT IS BEING DUMPED THERE THEN?
WHO'S RESPONSIBILITY IS IT TO KEEP THESE PEOPLE IN CHECK THEN?
WHO WILL TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FIRST DEATH CAUSED BY THIS SITE THEN?
WHAT IS ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH FOR THEN?
Name and Shame these Directors of Belhus Land Ltd
Because they are
The Land owners
who are ultimately responsible for the Tactics used against
these Horse Owners!
THURROCK COUNCIL HAS A DUTY TO SUPPORT IT'S COMMUNITY'S AND IT'S PEOPLE'S!
THIS ALSO INCLUDES OUR ANIMAL'S AND WILDLIFE!
HEALTH & SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT FOR ALL!
What is being dumped on this site is not all the ticket!
The South OckendonVillage
is now concerned for the people and animals of the
SOUTH OCKENDON COMMUNITY!

LOL doesn't matter what they dump on the site wht you got to worry about is whats dumped under it already. Anyone wondered why they want to cover it in thousnds of tonnes of rubble.

As for the horses why should the council intervene in a private property dispute between illegal sub-tenants and the land owner?

I moved off the ham 3 years ago but before leaving i had the back plot backing on to the school and was there for 3 years,
I know what this is doing to the wildlife there,
There are large amounts of bats living in the roofs of the old stable which can be seen at dusk every evening flying round the stables,
Im sure any one that has walkted the ham a hour before dusk must know of the 4 pairs of kestrels that are they every year starting around may time,
This are due to the fact they feed of the may bugs ,
The may bugs are always seen in may april an hour before dusk and can only live on land that has not been plowed or touchted for at least 5 years as they lay there laver in the ground ready for hatching the next year there lives are so short living for only 8 weeks each year just while they mate and lay therre eggs there lives now wipted out by all this
Hence thats the end of the maybugs also the kestrels and the bats,
Who or what has to be killed destroyed next oh yes the fox, rabbits.
The ham is WAS running alive with rabbits and at least 5 pairs of foxs eyes could be seen just by shinning a touch around you.
I also saw a badgger run across my plot once only saw it once but there again there one of the most shy out of all the residents of the ham.
so now there destroyed the habbitat of these animals thats them all be gone for good,
Is this a new way of protecting our wildlife.
OR JUST WHAT THEY THINK OF THE WILDLIFE THATS IN THERE WAY OF WHAT THEY WANT ???????

Anyone wondered why they want to cover it in thousnds of tonnes of rubble lol YES TO EARN MILLIONS AND MAKE OUT ITS ALL GOING TO BE OK WHEN THE PARKS DONE , BUT DONT FORGET THAT ITS ALL A RISK TO THE PEOPLES LIVES ONCE THE WEIGHT OF ALL THE LONDON CRAP AND THE LORRYS IS GOING TO CAUSE BIG DANGERS. WERE DO YOU THINK ALL THEM GASSES UNDER THE GROUND ARE GOING TO GO WITH ALL THAT WEIGHT ON TOP OF THE LAND ?????????????????????? BLOW !!!!!

We know why they want to cover it with Rocks and soil!I agree with that, but these horse owners and maybe you, are walking and riding on this land with only a 3 inch top soil covering, so how dangerous is that. If you consider the weight of the horse running around on this site and kicking up the soil and dust into the air , would be more dangerous than having rocks and 8ft of top soil. Tests are being done and they cannot get onto the ham river site to test until it is vacated!Health n Safety comes to mind with horses bolting around and vehicles trying to get on site does'nt mix my friend!
